"You're an idiot." Levi mumbled through the phone, his eyes watching the road as he drew. It was crowded with people coming and going, taking their time to walk in front of his car. His hooded eyes sent invisible daggers at them, hoping to move them.
The voice in the phone growled, yelling back at him. "I'm not an idiot! Just find a place to park and walk around, I'll be there soon. I can't believe you are having this much of a problem finding the store! Just wait there, I'll find you."
Levi closed the phone and quickly beat it to an open parking spot, hurrying to get out. He looked around, trying to find the store Eren was talking about. He wanted to get something for Mikasa, but he didn't know what. The store was called, 'The Style' and it was supposed to be on the end. He sighed, and began walking aimlessly around, hoping to see it or for Eren to come.
As he neared the corner, a woman walked out of the store, bumping into him. She just kept going, laughing and not apologizing. He glared and turned his head to see something through the window. He walked closer, thinking he was imagining something, but it seemed he was wrong.
A girl was by the window, stacking bottles of perfume and lotion onto a shelf, trying her best to place them correctly and to reach. A woman stopped her, pointing to one on the top and the girl smiled, nodding and standing on her toes, her arms stretched above her. She pulled the item down and handed it to her, smiling and waving as she left.
Her (e/c) lit up as the older woman spoke, leaving her. Smiling brightly, she turned and began stacking the rest onto the shelf. She fixed her apron and smoothed it down, where he read on the front; 'The Style'.
The girl turned around and hurried off to find someone else to help, smiling and immediately starting a conversation, being as friendly as possible. Levi wanted to go in, but he wasn't sure what to look for. Letting out a breath, he pulled open the door and stepped inside, not expecting the hoard of smells drifting through the air.
He scrunched his nose and looked around, only to be greeted by another girl. "Welcome to The Style! If there's anything you need help with, please feel free to ask."
"Yeah," He mumbled as he ignored her, only looking for the one person in particular. He noticed she was busy, so he directed himself to a wall of objects, maybe thinking he could find something. Reading all the labels, nothing interested him much, but then again, he wasn't shopping for his needs.
Levi picked up a small bottle of lotion, pushing the top and inhaling the flowery scent it held. Mikasa popped in his mind and he shook his head, suggesting something less sweet. They all had strange names with no meaning at all, the scents they had weren't any good either.
"May I help you with you something?" A soft, delicate and angelic voice spoke to him and he turned, startled by the sudden noise. The girl with the shining (e/c) orbs was looking at him, and he didn't know what to say. "You look a bit lost. Are you new to this store?"
He nodded shortly, setting the bottle down. "Yes, this is my first time." He gave her a sideways glance, before turning from the shelves. "I'm looking for something to give to a girl. I'm not sure what she likes."
She tilted her head, blinking. "Well if you are trying to get her to like you, then I suggest something simple, nothing too overpowering or classy. But you also don't want to give her something that says, 'hey, I see you as a friend and nothing as a lover'." She giggled and started to walk away when he grabbed her arm.
"She's not anything like that." He glared more at the thought of it and not at the girl. "My acquaintance should be here soon, he's actually the one wanting to get something for her, I'm just helping."
Her eyes widened and her cheeks reddened instantly and her lower lip quivered. "Oh, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have said any of that! Please forgive me, it was rude."
Levi shook his head, letting go over her arm. "It's fine, I was just informing you of the mistake. I'll just look around and wait until he shows up, go back to what you were doing." She nodded and hurried away, finding another customer to bother.
He watched as she laughed and reached up on her toes, grabbing a couple items for a woman. A couple of the items fell and she stepped back, running into the display behind her. She stood there in disbelief as everyone moved out of the way, the floor cluttered with the perfumes and broken glass from candles.
"______!" He snapped his head to a man that was stomping to her, his eyes narrowed in anger. You are always ruining everything! Clean this up now and stay after to help with tomorrows work too! This is coming out of your pay." He then turned to the witnessing people. "I'm sorry for my clumsy employee, please go about and if you need something, ask another worker."
(Name) nodded, her head lowering as well as her body when she crouched down, picking up the bottles of fragrance. Levi rushed forward, dropping down as he started to help her, her head bobbing up to look at him. "Oh please sir, I wouldn't want you to get hurt. I can do this, I'm alright."
"Says a girl who has water in her eyes. I'm offering to help out of my own free will." He placed his index finger under her chin and lifted her head. "Levi."
She frowned, confusion clouding her eyes. "Excuse me?"
He sighed, "That is my name, please address me as it." She nodded, still able to give him a smile even though she was just recently yelled at. He started picking up pieces of glass when a outburst startled him.
"Levi there you are! I didn't see you outside so I thought maybe you already found it, seems I was right!" Eren hurried over to him, grinning from ear to ear. "What are you doing on the ground? Did you break something..?" His eyes moved to the girl, where his speech stopped short and his green eyes grew big. "C-Cute..."
